ARLINGTON

The town of Arlington, Middlesex County, was formerly West Cambridge.
February 27, 1807, a part of Cambridge was established as West Cambridge.
February 25, 1842, a part of Charlestown was annexed to West Cambridge.
April 13, 1867, the name of the town of West Cambridge was changed to Arlington.
